Final Proposed Bylaws Revisions
Our bylaws outline the governance of our church, which actually is a non-profit corporation bound by New York State laws. The church has been operating under bylaws that were affirmed by the congregation in January of 2020, and in the four years since then, we have monitored how our officers, board leads, and teams have operated under them. We have noticed a few items that might serve us better if revised to reflect our actual functioning.
Council has voted to revise the bylaws and to present those revisions for approval at a congregational meeting on January 12, 2025.
Copies of the final version of the revisions are now available and can be accessed HERE. The document begins with the Constitution, which is not being changed.
The final draft is now available for a thirty-day review prior to the ratification meeting on January 12th, 2025.
