Worship That Welcomes You — Just As You Are
Visiting a new church can feel overwhelming — but we promise, Mt. Sinai Congregational Church is a place where you can breathe easy and simply be yourself.
We are a progressive Christian church in Mt. Sinai, NY, committed to living out Christ’s message of radical love, justice, and belonging. As an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, we celebrate and affirm all people — no matter your age, race, ability, income, relationship status, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Whether you're walking in with your family, joining us online from nearby Suffolk County, or showing up solo just to see what this is all about you’ll find a spiritually grounded, inclusive worship experience that meets you with grace and joy.
You don’t have to believe everything, know all the words, or look a certain way. Just come. You're already welcome here.
We’re All on a Journey — Let’s Walk Together
Not sure what you believe? You’re not alone — and you’re in the right place. At Mt. Sinai Congregational Church, we know that faith isn’t a straight line — it’s a living journey with room for questions, doubts, wonder, and growth.
Some of us grew up in church. Some left and came back. Some are still figuring out where faith fits into our lives. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to have it all figured out to be part of this community.
Whether you’re seeking spiritual connection, wrestling with big questions, or simply hoping to find a meaningful place to belong, we invite you to explore with us. Our doors — and our hearts — are open.
We’re a welcoming church on Long Island that honors your journey, listens to your story, and walks with you every step of the way.
