Faith in Action

The Missions Ministry at Mt. Sinai Congregational Church exists to serve — because we believe love looks like action. From food drives to disaster relief, from justice education to outreach partnerships, this ministry turns faith into tangible support and advocacy.

If you’re seeking a church in Mt. Sinai, NY that serves the community, welcomes all, and walks boldly for justice — this is your place.

More on our Food Missions

The Mt. Sinai Congregational Church’s Island Heart Food Pantry, located at 643 Middle Country Road in Middle Island, provides essential food services every Wednesday from 1pm to 4pm. Over 10,000 individuals are helped each year at this valuable mission location.  In addition, we operate an Emergency Food Cupboard in our church, assisting clients on Tuesdays from 9:15 am to 11:45 am.

Reach out to us for aid or to make a contribution that will truly make a difference in our community's well-being.

Why It Matters

The Gospel calls us to love our neighbor — and not just with words. Missions is where our values come to life. We don’t just go to church. We are the church, in action.
